Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC)

 KANGAROO MOTHER CARE ( KMC).

🌹 (KMC ) is a method of holding the baby on skin- to- skin contact .

🌹 KMC is mostly done for preterm babies because they need direct heat .

🌹 It can be done in the hospital and even at home when the baby is discharged .. 

🌹 In KMC ,the baby is literally naked except with a diapers and placed on bare chest of either the mother or the father and cloth is wrapped around the baby and the mother or father carrying on the chest for up to few hours to keep the baby warm .. 

🌹 KMC is a very unique way of making preterm babies become warm hence speeding the growth process of the preterm baby ..
